One Important Trick to Improve Speaking English
English is a very challenging language for Asian language speakers because of the big differences in the way they pronounce words in their mother tongue. Asian languages often use more words ending with vowels or "soft sounds" whereas Latin-based languages like English often use consonant endings or "hard sounds": k,t,d,b. This affects the strength of positioning the tongue which is most evident when Asian speakers try to pronounce words with "L, R, V" or blends using "L and R" such as bl and br.

So how do we improve this area? The most effective way is to understand how the sounds are made. For example, to tell the difference between "l" and "r" you can simply bite your teeth to make sure you pronounce a "r". As for the "l" make sure you press your tongue to the back of your two front teeth. This should give you a more accurate pronunciation of these sounds and many words in English. Making these simple yet thoughtful changes to your pronunciation can dramatically improve English speaking. There are lots of other letters and blends that are also difficult to pronounce.
