Certified Native English Teachers
Do you know what the difference is between a "qualified" teacher and a certified teacher? Some people are fooled by hearing the words "qualified" English teacher. But what does that really mean? If parents ask the right questions, they may soon find out that the person they thought was a certified English teacher has not had any teacher training at all. How is that going to help your child you ask? Does that "teacher" understand the stages of childhood development? Will they be able to deliver appropriate strategies to help the students learn to the best of their ability? Most likely not.
Certified teachers do understand, and do know strategies for helping students maximise their efforts. They will also have a deeper understanding of why children behave the way they do and what approaches to take to help them achieve their goals.
Lesson Learned: Don't be fooled by the "qualified" teacher.
